We’ve increased the number of services available at Post Office® outlets across Northern Ireland and the UK, so banking with us is even easier. As an Ulster Bank business customer you can:

  • Get a balance using your debit card and PIN (Personal Identification Number)

  • Withdraw cash using your debit card and PIN

  • Pay in cash with a pre-printed paying-in slip

  • Deposit cheques with a pre-printed paying-in slip

  • Each Post Office® is subject to individual cut off timesPoint of time in which the banking transactions are collected from the Post Office® 
  • The level of service may differ at each Post Office®
  • Cash paid in through the Post Office® will be added to your Ulster Bank account 1 working day after paying-in NB only if lodgement made before 14.30 and is subject to Post Office® cut off times
  • Cheques paid in through the Post Office® will be added to your Ulster Bank account 1 working day after paying-in Cheques will follow the normal cheque clearing cycles after they have been received by the Bank
  • When using the Post Office® to pay in, cash and cheques cannot be mixed in the same transaction. Separate paying-in slips are required

Cheque pay in

  • Ulster Bank branded Post Office® cheque deposit envelope(s) available at the Post Office® counter or at UB NI branches
  • A pre-printed paying-in slip for every cheque deposit envelope usedMultiple envelopes may be required depending on the size and/or number of cheques being paid in
  • Standard charges will apply for each paying-in slip
  • Cheques paid in via the Post Office® will be added to an Ulster Bank account 1 working day after paying-insubject to Post Office® outlet cut off times
  • The normal cheque clearing cycles apply thereafter upon receipt

Change Giving

  • Customers will need to be register for the service through their Relationship Manager.The Change Giving Service may take up to 15 working days to complete and is only available at the Post Office® for which the customer is registered 
  • A Change Giving card will be required to exchange cash at the Post Office®. This is provided following registration.
  • Up to a maximum of £1,000 notes can be exchanged for coin per day.
  • Customers can only obtain standard bag denominations of coin.
  • The change order must be received at least 24 hours in advance
