You can get up to 56 days interest free credit on purchases if you pay your balance (and your previous month's balance) in full and on time each month. Note that an interest free period on purchases is a feature of all credit cards in the UK.

Can I use my Student credit card abroad?
Our Ulster Bank Student Credit Card is widely accepted at millions of overseas retailers and ATMs, so your money is easily accessible. Just look for the Mastercard logo when you're abroad then use your card as normal.
Payment Scheme Exchange Rates are set by Mastercard and you should note that currencies fluctuate every day. Ulster Bank credit card transactions in a foreign currency also incur a 2.75% non-sterling transaction fee.
Can I use Apple Pay with my Student credit card?
To use Apple Pay in stores you need an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus or Apple Watch. Apple Pay can also be used to pay within apps on an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro or iPad mini 3 and 4.

When will I get my card?
If your application has been approved, we aim to get your new card to you within 5-7 working days.
How long does an application take?
On average it takes about 15 minutes to complete an online application. To ensure you can complete the form accurately, you'll need to know:
- Your address details for the last three years
- Your income and employment details
- Your bank account number and sort code
