Now you can register your travel plans via Anytime Internet Banking at least 24 hours before your trip and we'll do our best to ensure your holiday spending with your credit card isn't affected at all.

It only takes a few minutes; all you need to do is:

  • Log in to Anytime Internet Banking
  • Select 'Cards' from within the left hand menu
  • Select 'Using your credit card abroad' on the page

Our credit cards are accepted at millions of overseas retailers and ATMs, just look for the VISA or MasterCard logos when using your card as normal.

The table below outlines the charges for use of an Ulster Bank Credit Card outside the UK

Transaction withdrawal limit

In most cases, you can withdraw funds up to your ATM daily withdrawal limit of £300, provided there are sufficient funds in your account and you remain within 50% of your credit limit. Within Europe some cash dispenser networks have imposed a maximum value per transaction of €150 (equivalent to around £135). To withdraw more than this you have to carry out more than one transaction.
