You can now use the app to make secure payments of up to £1,000 per day with just an account number and sort code. No card reader required. Maximum of 4 payments per day, totalling £1,000.
It's simple - Select 'Payments' and choose whether you want to make a payment from your list of saved payees or someone new.

Log in using your fingerprint
A quick and convenient way to login to your app using your fingerprint registered under Touch ID.
Option is available to iPhone 5S, 6 and 6 Plus users with an iOS8 or higher operating system.
Simply login once you’ve updated the app and go to the ‘More Menu’ to enable this option.
Pay in cheques securely using our app
You can now pay in your cheques anytime, anywhere. Just take a photo of the front and back of the cheque using our app and the money will be paid into your business current account. It's simple, secure and saves you a trip to the branch.

How to log in with your face
Now you can add an extra layer of advanced security in our app – set up face biometrics. It goes beyond face recognition to identify what makes your face unique.
It involves taking a photo of yourself that is encrypted and securely stored on the Ulster Bank database. When you come to use biometric approval you’ll need to put your face in the frame and follow the on-screen instructions.
This is a check to make sure you're a real person and helps stop fraud. It is a simpler way of managing your money and is a handy alternative to your card reader.
