Ulster Bank is committed to a supportive work environment, where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Internal focus group discussions following employee survey results in 'Our View' (an annual employee survey), together with benchmarking external best practice, form the basis of our action plans. There is an Executive sponsor for Inclusion and inclusion forms part of our Value 'Doing the Right Thing' where " we prize fairness and diversity".
Our women’s network, Women in Touch (WIT), was launched to support women in managerial roles to network, share experiences, learn from each other and realise their potential. The WIT network offers Ulster Bank employees the opportunity to develop and advance their careers, becoming involved in activities that will challenge and inspire them. In addition Ulster Bank seeks to become the bank of choice for female led businesses through its (Chambers Ireland) award winning Business Women Can.
We also leverage the employee inclusion networks across RBS Group such as the Focused Women’s Network and the Rainbow Network. Ulster Bank as part of RBS is a member of Stonewall and GLEN (in RoI) for our lgbt employees and allies. We encourage our employees to bring their whole self to work.
