About your application

Add your signposting title here… How did your application go?
What you need to open a bank account

We try to verify your details electronically, but sometimes we need to see physical proof. We will be in touch within 48 hours if we require any further information from you.

We can verify both your identity and address using a full Northern Ireland/UK/Republic of Ireland driving licence or provisional licence

Don't have a driving licence? We'll need to see two separate documents to verify your identity and address, such as a passport and a bank statement or utility bill.

To confirm your student status, we need to see your UCAS letter.

If you applied for an overdraft we may also need to see a payslip and 3 month's bank statements.

If you don't have these documents, don't worry, we will ask you to provide other forms of ID, proof of address and proof of student status that we can accept.
