Our mobile branch:

 
  • Visits specific locations for up to 5 days a week throughout the year (except Christmas Day and bank holidays).

  • Allows you to do all your usual everyday banking, like making deposits, withdrawing cash and paying bills.
 
  • Has a friendly team on-board and can help connect you to any other teams you need to talk to at Ulster Bank about our products and services.

  • If you have a disability, are elderly or find it difficult to use our services, talk with our team and they’ll be happy to make reasonable adjustments to suit your needs and demonstrate how we can help.

• You can withdraw a maximum of £1,999* with your cheque book and chip and PIN debit card. This can be a larger sum, by arrangement, for customers who are known to our team.

 

• If you don’t have a chip and PIN debit card, we require 2 forms of identification: one photographic, such as a passport, and one with proof of address – such as a recent utility bill. The maximum withdrawal without a chip and PIN debit card is £50.

• Please bring your pre-printed pay-in book for paying in cash and cheques.

 

• All cash deposits are applied to customer accounts overnight* and will show on your account the next working day. On a Saturday, payments into your account will not show until the following Tuesday**.

 

 

* Subject to sufficient funds being available.

** This will be 1 day later when there is a bank holiday.

• You can withdraw a maximum of £1,500, or up to £3,000, by prior arrangement with the mobile branch.

• Business Customers can make maximum cash deposits of £3,000 across the counter or £8,000 in FastCash. All cash deposits are applied to business customer accounts overnight and will show on your account the next working day. On a Saturday, payments will not show on customer's account until the following Tuesday**.

• The maximum coin exchange is £500 as we are limited in the volume of coin we can carry.

 

• Change orders should be requested 48 hours in advance. Please speak to a member of our team if you require this service.

Important customer notice

Please be aware that your payments/transactions will not show on your account immediately. They will be processed overnight and show on your statement with the date the transaction was completed. 

Your payments/transactions may take longer to reach your account, or the beneficiary, if the vehicle is delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, for instance by bad weather or road congestion. 

To ensure we are able to fulfil our timetable in all of the communities we visit, we are unable to operate this service beyond the times stated in our published timetable. Our mobile branch teams are limited to the amount of cash they can carry and therefore there maybe occasions when we are unable to complete larger cash transactions.

Unavailable services

Unfortunately, we are unable to process some transactions within our mobile branch service. The following services can only be completed in branch:

  • Printing statements
  • Foreign payments
  • Electronic payments such as CHAPs and Faster Payments
  • Complex mandates or opening accounts

Give us a call whenever you like - day or night.

To make the most of our Telephone Banking service you will first need to register. If you are registered for Anytime Banking you will automatically be registered for Telephone Banking. Just make sure you know your customer number and are able to provide 2 digits of your online PIN when required to pass security.
